walking into train station's chairs

Went hiking with today with the Duke of Ed kids ( Alice, Jack , Kenny , Mark , Vicky and various more). Woke at 6 , showered , packed my gear.. i know bit late but meh thats how i do my stuff , last minute repairs to my hydration pack .. stupid thing leaks so much.. then set off with Mark to Stratfield Station.

Met up with the rest at Stratfield, took the first train to Brooklyn . Those trains are so old T.T , the doors don't slide open anymore, you have to open them by hand so we discovered last year xD. I walked into one of those blue chairs on the station and now my shins hurt alot T.T

We had our little pep talk and groups started to set off... walked for a while the girls complained quite a bit "ewww this ewwwwww that yadda yaddda ickiiii ickkky" eventuatly they stoped and we started cracking profanity jokes , was some what interesting..

Took our first break at a clearing that over looked the bay and ate our recess. It was funyn because only the guys and I knew that this was the place where we were suppose to stop and break, i wanted to let the other group continue walking but nooo mark decided to let them know....

Continued to walk after this, it was mostly uphill, it would seem that Vicky has really bad fitness, with all respect , she was dead weight when it came to walking up hill... but eventually she got the hang of it.. or was that when we started walking on flat ground .. i'm not too sure which...

Nothing happened much untill we got to around 3/4 way of the hike, one of the groups ahead of us told us that one of the year 9 girls , Sharon, had fucked up her legs or something and she couldn't walk .. so they went back to help/giveherpiggybackrides. My group mucked around for 10 minutes or so till we decided to call Parker and ask if he needed any help. He said he needed a stretcher, so the guys and I went looking for poles or branches that were strong enough to support someone. When we found the poles Jack and I carried them up back the trail give or take 2-3 km till we found them then I set up the stretcher, because noone had any rope i used jackets and jumpers to make the stretcher , rope works much better though =S. In the end we had to carry her all the way down, it was slow but we got there.

Who would've know all those years at scouting would come in use after all eh?
